In this verse, the Supreme Lord is saying that He is everywhere in the universe, but in a way that we can't see or touch like other things around us. We might think we understand everything about the world we live in with our senses—what we can see, hear, and feel—but the Supreme Lord’s true form is different from this. To truly know Him or connect with Him, it requires more than just looking with our eyes or listening with our ears.
To put it simply, it's like trying to understand air. You can’t see air directly, but you know it’s there because you can feel the wind on your face or see the leaves on trees moving. Similarly, the Lord is everywhere in the universe, like the air that fills a room. Everything exists through His energy, just as everything in the room exists because it has air in it.
The verse also tells us that all living beings—whether animals, plants, or humans—are connected to the Supreme Lord. He is the source of life and existence for all of us. However, even though He is the foundation of everything, He is not confined inside these beings. This means that while everything exists because of Him, He is not limited or defined by any one of us.
In life, many people do not see or realize the Supreme Lord because they are focused on material things and everyday concerns. Understanding Him requires more than just basic senses; it takes devotion and a sincere effort to connect with Him. This means building a loving relationship with Him through prayer, meditation, or devotion. When you do this, you can start to feel His presence within you and around you, just as you can feel the effects of air.
Thus, the Lord remains unseen to many because they rely only on what they can physically sense, which is limited. But for those who choose to engage deeply with devotion and seek spiritual wisdom, they can understand and feel His presence in everything around them. Just like how the sun’s rays spread light everywhere, the Lord's energy spreads through all of creation.
