Interpretation

In this verse, the speaker highlights a common mistake people make: they think they are completely in charge of their actions and their results. This belief is rooted in ignorance, meaning they don't understand the bigger picture.

The verse teaches that it’s not just one person who is responsible for everything. There are multiple factors that influence what happens in our lives. These include:
1. **The Worker**: This is the person who is doing the action, in this case, you.
2. **The Body**: The physical form through which actions are taken.
3. **The Senses**: These are our abilities to experience the world, like our eyes, ears, and hands. They help us interact with our environment.
4. **The Efforts**: The work and energy we put into our actions.
5. **The Supreme Cause**: This refers to a higher power or the Divine that guides everything and everyone. This is sometimes recognized as God or a universal spirit.

When someone believes they are just the sole doer and ignores these other factors, they lack wisdom. This can lead to a narrow understanding of reality. For example, a person might think that they alone are responsible for their success at work, forgetting that they have supportive colleagues, a boss who provides direction, and even luck or timing playing a role.

Additionally, this verse also tells us that there is a Supreme Being (or the Supersoul) that dwells within everyone, guiding us like a wise friend. If we ignore this guidance and think we control everything by ourselves, we miss out on seeing the truth of our existence.

To sum it up, the verse encourages us to be humble and recognize the contributions of others and the influence of a higher power in everything we do. True understanding comes from this recognition, leading to a wiser and more balanced way of living.
