In this verse, Krishna, who is a divine figure, is giving advice to Arjuna, his friend. He is saying that if you keep thinking about Him consistently and treat Him as your beloved friend, you can truly connect with Him. This connection isn't just a formality; it's about genuinely devoting yourself to Him.
Krishna emphasizes the importance of having a daily routine that allows you to think of Him. It’s not enough to just sit down and meditate for a few minutes; your entire life should offer chances to remember and connect with Him. For example, while you are cooking, you can think of Krishna and dedicate the food to Him. When you are doing your work, you could do it with the intention of serving Krishna.
The idea is to plan your life so that you can’t help but think about Krishna throughout your day—not just during designated prayer times but in every action you take.
Krishna assures that if you do this sincerely, you will find a way to be with Him, where you can have a personal relationship with Him, just as Arjuna does. He addresses Arjuna as His dear friend because of their close bond. Therefore, this knowledge isn’t just for Arjuna; anyone can follow his example and become close to Krishna as well.
Essentially, by nurturing a loving relationship with Krishna, you open the door to a deeper spiritual connection, leading you to a place of peace and fulfillment that goes beyond this life.
